We are inviting you to become a member of the Matterdale Community Association (MCA), charity number 1151528. We are a very active community organisation, organising many activities and events throughout the valley. The MCA was established to provide social, recreational and educational activities for the Matterdale Community and adjacent parishes. It also aims to secure some form of space in which activities and meetings can take place. It is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, CIO, which can have up to 12 trustees however, membership is open to anyone who lives in the Matterdale area, plus others from outside the area, provided that the latter do not form more than 20% of the membership. By becoming a member, you will be demonstrating your interest and support for the objectives of the MCA, and this will also help the charity when it applies for advice and funding.
