About the Event
For many years Beetle Drives we’re one of the key social events held regularly in the old Village Hall at Matterdale with the prize at the pre Christmas one being either a live or dead goose! Join us in the Royal at Dockray at 7:00pm on Sunday February 13th for our first Beetle Drive in the Valley for many decades for an evening of fun, pleasure and for those who so desire imbibing. Absolutely no skills are required ( unlike at the humiliating quiz nights), except an ability to throw a dice and use a pencil! Rules will be explained on the night. To facilitate arrangements in the Royal please let Brian Clark - briandrummondclark@btinternet.com - who will be organising the event, know if you plan to attend. If you don’t know until nearer the event just turn up and we will try to fit you in.
