Due to the moderately high risk of rain and/or midges and a straw poll of interested parties the quiz will take place on Zoom.  The following link will last for 40 minutes so there will be a break then and we log into to the same link again for the second half.

National Theatre on You Tube - every week

Matterdale Valley History - fun for all "distanced" walk

Put the date in your diary - starting between 1:30 and 2:30 - finish by around 5pm.

A family friendly self guided walk taking in many historical and geological sites in our beautiful Matterdale Valley. Starting and finishing at the Royal Hotel, Dockray this easy 4.5 mile route will take you through the winding lanes and footpaths that link together Dockray, Matterdale End and Ulcat Row. And why not also enjoy a well earned socially distanced drink back at the Royal afterwards. Hope to see you there!

(The walk will involve two short sections of walking on the main road and some sectins on minor roads. Dogs are welcome but should be kept on leads where necessary and especially on roads and when walking through any fields with livestock)
