About the Event

Kate is descended from market gardeners and scientists. Her upbringing was full of both, and she became a teacher of science, creativity and thinking skills. Kate became fascinated by how minds learn and, more importantly, what hinders learning, and in 2000 she began to study neurology.

Disenchanted with the national curriculum, she set up her own company taking themed thinking workshops around schools; one was on climate change. Kate then extended this to teach teachers how to develop thinking skills and higher order problem solving in their students. Her continued study of brain health led her to diet and environmental influences and then to how our food was produced. Meanwhile, Kate's study of climate change led her to the health of the soil ....and to how our food was produced. If anyone ever had a eureka moment, Kate believes she can claim it.

With her children all now independent ..or nearly; she looks back on a privileged life and wants to give back. The one thing she can do, that she believes is of vital importance, is to share the information that will save us and save the planet. You will be as amazed as she is by the connections between our health, the soil's health and the health of the planet.

As ever breakfast is included. Donation towards Kate's charity of choice much appreciated. Please let Nick Nick know if you are coming so that food can be managed nick@nickutting.plus.com or call him on 017684 86091.
